Where to measure:
- Waist: Measure around the body where the waistband of your pants normally sits.
- Inseam: While wearing hunting boots, measure from your crotch down the inside leg to the floor.
- Thigh circumference: The widest part of your thigh. About 4-5 cm (1.6 - 2") below your crotch
How to measure:
- Clothing: Wear as little clothing as possible, like undergarments or close-fitting clothing.
- Tape measure: Use a flexible tape measure for accuracy, ideally not a metal one.
- Position: Stand in a neutral position with your back straight and shoulders down.
- Tape tightness: Make sure the tape is level and snug, but not tight.
- Measurement points: Use landmarks that are shown on the above diagram on your body to find the right measurement points.

The Backcountry Pants are a long-standing KITANICA design, now reimagined with a major upgrade in fabric, fit, and features. Built from a lightweight yet durable 5.3 oz. stretch ripstop blend of nylon, cotton, and spandex, the new BCPs balance strength with comfort and mobility. The addition of stretch enhances freedom of movement without sacrificing toughness.
The design includes a gusseted crotch, articulated knees, and paneled stretch sections at the back waist for all-day comfort. Double-layered knees and seat add durability where it matters most, while the overall profile remains lower-key than traditional tactical pants: streamlined, versatile, and ready for everyday wear.
