Perfect fit for my Magpul 5.56 mags!

It fits my Glock 47X perfect, wish it could fit two mags instead of one.

I LOVE IT!!! The design is simply perfect for my needs. I can transition to using it for my mountain bike, to concealed carry, to rifle mag, to all of the above by ripping out the panels. It even fits one of my small ballistic panels underneath the padded chest piece. It goes perfect with the Scorpion pack. I am never disappointed with an order, you guys outdid yourselves again!

Now this is another amazing reason to keep buying Kitanica! Sturdy and surprising how easy it was to deploy securely. Perfect’ish color its more olive then ranger green but its still great.

ASP's (All season pants)

They're as great as my khaki , black , & my old blue ones. Just kinda miss seeing that little American flag on the waist hem. Thanx again for the quality apparel.

What superheroes should wear.

I've only had this jacket for a week or two, and already it's become my preferred "go-to" whenever I leave the house. The quality of the materials is superb, and the materials feel very robust. The layout of the pockets is logical and offers plenty of storage. The zipper is heavy duty and moves smoothly and rapidly.

This jacket does have a cut-off that ends at my waist, so it "feels" short, but it's tactical and practical and gives easy access to my pant pockets. However, I do have to be attentive when wearing layers so that my t-shirt or button-down shirt isn't draping out from the bottom. That is aesthetics-based, just know it's a bit shorter than a regular jacket.

Additionally, given the material of the jacket, and the way it wears, it can seem loud and noisy as you move your arms. Taking a walk around a quiet neighborhood, you'll hear the sound of the material friction-rubbing against itself. Put your hands in your pocket and the fabric won't move as much and thus quieter. This is not a dealbreaker, just something to note.

Overall, I am elated with this jacket. The fit and finish is splendid, and for an extra large body-type like mine, I'm glad their sizing can accommodate. I took a chance on this jacket, and I do not regret it. Just be mindful that you might feel like your local bad-**** every time you put this thing on.

Mark I Tactical Fleece on Steroids

I bought a Mark I jacket way back when Kitanica was a new company. Although I rarely wore the Mark I jacket, I constantly wore the zip-in fleece. For over 10 years I wore it whenever the weather turned colder. I had to replace the velcro due to wear and age. Even after a decade the jacket material remained new looking. The only tell the age of the jacket was over a decade was the paint on the black metal zippers was fading. When I saw Kitanica was essentially making the tactical fleece with a hood I bought one. This one was made in the Philippines, not the USA. That said, the quality, material, and warmth was identical to the original one. The addition of the hood threw me at first, as I wasn't used to having one, but as soon as the cold spring rains started, I was glad I had it. The inner pockets are slightly reconfigured, but more useful, and the hand warming pockets are now real pockets, not a passthrough to the larger inner compartment on the original fleece. The addition of the extra zip pockets on the arms and to the side of the two main chest pockets make the fleece far more capable from a storage perspective. All in all, Kitanica took one of the best items in my wardrobe and brought it to the next level. It won't zip into a Mark I jacket, but it stands on its own, nevertheless.

I appreciated the detail of this softshell, I is however a little stiff, but I suspect that will change with usage.

Good pants

There's enough pockets to make me happy, and the material is light enough for current weather. Will see how that holds when summer fully hits in Florida. I like them so far, had to buy a second pair.

Fantastic!

Fits and feels better than anticipated. Went for the long sizing because I'm 6'5" and it's perfect. Heavy duty but still not too much weight in the actual jacket.

Almost perfect!!!

Almost perfect!!! I’m usually not that generous, but hey, this is a KITANICA product.

As a tall guy who has spent a lifetime dealing with sleeves that are too short, the TACS sleeves are long enough to provide complete freedom of movement without binding in the least!!!

Plenty of pockets, intelligently located and easy to to open / close. The Velcro tapes on the cuffs and hood are big time durable. And the drawstring adjusters are in the right places for great control and easy access.

Comfortable in 65 degrees down to 45 degrees with wind chill in the 30’s. With a Tamarack or other hoodie underneath, I’m sure it will go quite a bit colder.

The fabrics live up to their description - durable and resilient - and yet really soft and flexible.

Only 1 thing I can think of as an improvement would be a 2-way zipper.

Thanks for a grand slam, KITANICA!!!

Love it

Just like everything they make 100% on point!!!

I own many Kitanica products, and while it's hard to put the quality level of one item above another, I think this may just be the most well-made piece of their gear that I own.
The first thing I noticed when removing the pack upon receipt was that the carry handle is stiffer than that of others’, hence retaining its width and making for a more comfortable feel in your hand when carrying the pack loaded.
Unlike other makers' packs I own that are also (seemingly) intended to be able to pull on one panel opening multiple zippers, Kitanica’s actually work….every time. Other maker’s zippers get hung or require some “fidgeting” of the panel or zippers, but not these. It’s great when things work as they’re supposed to, isn’t it? 😊
The foam panel inserts for shape retention of the pack regardless of loading are stiffer than those of others’, and even when empty, the pack looks perfect and is more easily accessible for quick loading, if necessary.
The only thing I would point out to potential purchasers is to notice that the pack has fewer & larger compartments rather than more small ones. If you’re a “micro-packer”, so to speak, this is not the solution for you.
Constructive input for Kitanica: In designing this pack (though I am NOT a designer….lol), I would’ve have considered the 2 amply sized external water bottle pockets as sufficient, and utilized the interior space of the other 2 as traditional zippered storage pockets. That’s not a complaint, though, just my opinion.
Thanks as always for another “overbuilt” quality product; You folks rock!!

Ordering another beanie

Just an awesome pack

I'm going to echo what another reviewer said about having too many packs. I definitely have a problem lol. But, this also gives me a broader perspective perhaps when judging a new pack. And I have to say: I LOVE this backpack. I have been carrying it daily for a few weeks now, so I feel like I know it well enough to write an informed review.

This pack is very well-made. The materials, fit and finish are all top-notch. No loose threads or errant stiches or seams anywhere to be found. The ranger green colorway is awesome and blends in well in all environments. It doesn't look like a typical tacticool backpack, yet has all the features of one.

The design is very thoughtful, and the pack has just the right amount of organization for my needs. The top lid functions much like a MR Ripruck, only better IMO, since the magnets do a great job of securing the lid when I don't have time to zip it up. The side water bottle pockets easily fit my 40 ounce hydroflask and keep it secure, so I don't worry about it falling out. And the laser-cut PALS matrices on the sides and front are functional without being overtly tactical looking.

The bag is also super comfortable. I absolutely love the way the shoulder straps work, as their curvature fits my torse perfectly, and the padding and width are just right. Not too bulky, but still distribute the weight very well. I didn't even need to adjust the split harness, but it's nice that it can be tweaked. And the sternum strap, which I expected to hate based on its description, turned out to be so much better than I thought. It's awesome! I now wish all my packs had this. I may be in the minority, as I've seen some reviewers mention it in a negative light, but it is so clever and just works. I can easily clip and unclip it with one hand, and it is totally secure when engaged.

I could say more, but I will sum it up by just saying: buy this pack! For the price, it's amazing. It has displaced my MR 2DAP and Blitz 30 as my daily driver, and those are both amazing packs. I am a complete bag snob, so know that I am VERY critical of backpacks. This one is just awesome. It also works perfectly with the beavertail that walkmanbackpacks sells on the bay for MR 2daps. I replaced the SRBs with G-hooks, and there were already hypalon loops along the side/back seams that the tail's straps line up with perfectly. See photo for an idea of just how well it works.

Another great product Envoy Attache’

The Envoy’ Attache’ is a great commuter bag and works well in office. When I don’t need my full kit in my Kitanica back pack I take the essentials in the attache’ and it’s the perfect size. Durable and well made like all other Kitanica products.
