TAC = Totally Acceptable Comfort

I've heard Kitanica gear referred to as "tacticool" which is actually misleading. Typical "tacticool" gear looks formidable but has inferior materials, design, and construction standards. Kitanica IS NOT that type of gear, sure some jackets may have some molle in goofy places but one has to remember the company started out by making outdoor work clothing which necessitated extra places to hang tools and other accoutrement. I just received my TAC softshell (5th product I've bought from Kitanica) and I must say I am impressed. I look forward to testing this jacket out when the weather cools but I suspect that even here in the desert, I will be using this jacket on cool nights or at higher elevations. The fit is spot on and so far the quality is just like everything else I have from Kitanica = BOMB PROOF. As a former designer and rep for Marmot Mtn Works, I can appreciate the design, materials, and craftsmanship that Kitanica puts into their gear. Now for some of my "opinions":
* Loose the molle webbing on jacket exteriors
* Look into more "expedition" type design and soften the tactical look
* Make the Mtn Shorts more affordable, I know they are good pants ( I own a pair) but they are basically a 3/4 version of some of your normal length pants that sell for A LOT less. I would have 2 more pairs if you brought the price point down because they are perfect for my work in the southwest.
* Stay away from the pack/bag business and focus on your strongpoints which are clothes.
* I'd like to see a multi pocketed pant that is suitable for the tropics (lighter weight material, quick drying, use stretch material similar to RevolutionRace)

Anyway, I love the TAC and know that it will go the distance!!

Quality🤌

Second soft shell from Kitanica. Let me tell you these guys know how to make stuff! I wear a large and the fit is perfect. The build quality is on point. Completely satisfied with my purchase. Already giving the Mark I the “across the bar” look. I am in law enforcement so edc and good tac gear is always something I keep my eyes open for. I’ve recommended this company to all my guy at my station and the academy instructors down in Little Rock. Tons of compliments and I standby their build quality. Keep up the good work Kitanica
