I got my Mark I used. The previous owner had it for years. He purchased it around 2012 or earlier. It only has two buckles. One on top and one on the bottom. The jacket is still in awesome condition given it age. Everything still works and it still looks great for it age. It has soften a lot due to use which makes it very comfortable to put on and off. After two Chinese-made (by a well-known US company) jackets fell apart over several years, I knew it was time to pony up for something better. Achievement unlocked.

The Mk1 has more pockets and features than I need, and the quality of manufacture is unparalleled. That it’s made in the USA and has a lifetime guarantee is the icing on the cake.

I’m typically a L across the shoulders and chest, but usually have to buy XL to accommodate my freakishly long arms. The website stated that their arms are made longer than average, and this is correct. The L fits me like it was tailored, and looks sharp. After going for a walk in mid-October Alaskan weather, I knew I’d have to also get the shell. I thought it might be tight and cumbersome, but it’s not at all, and is very warm.

This’ll probably be my “everything” jacket from now on, including for the bikes in foul weather.

This jacket is everything I ever wanted in a coat. Warm, durable, top notch quality, and plenty of pockets. I use it for work and it's perfect for outdoor rain and wind.
